- 1 kg Sweet Potato
- - Rice Flour
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Lemon
Instructions
- 1. Peel and dice the sweet potatoes into small cubes and boil until tender, about 10 minutes.
- 2. Rinse and cook the red lentils in water until soft, approximately 10 minutes, then drain excess water.
- 3. Mash the boiled sweet potatoes and cooked lentils together in a large bowl until smooth.
- 4. Add rice flour, chopped coriander, minced garlic, grated ginger, green chilies, cumin powder, turmeric powder, and salt to the mixture.
- 5. Mix thoroughly to form a thick dough-like consistency that holds shape for kebabs.
- 6. Shape the mixture into small cylindrical kebabs or patties with your hands.
- 7. Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat and place the kebabs carefully in the pan.
- 8. Cook the kebabs for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and crisp on the surface.
