- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 500 g Chicken Thigh Boneless
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- 500 g Onion
- 5 g Poppy Seed
- 200 g Table Salt
- 50 g Cloves
- 25 g Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Cardamom Green
- 50 g Fennel Seed
- 20 g Cinnamon
- 100 g Jeera
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 1 kg Sweet Potato
- - Coconut Oil
- 100 g Jeera
- - Red Chilli
- - Coriander Powder
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 50 g Black Pepper
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Peel and dice the sweet potato into small cubes for even cooking.
- 2. Rinse the red lentils under running water until the water runs clear.
- 3. Heat coconut oil in a large pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds to toast lightly.
- 4. Add diced sweet potatoes to the pan and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 5. Stir in turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt, coating the sweet potato evenly.
- 6. Add the rinsed lentils and water to the pan, then bring to a gentle simmer.
- 7. Cover the pan and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
- 8. Slice green chilies and add them to the pan along with black pepper for a spicy kick.
- 9. Check the lentils and sweet potato for tenderness; they should be soft but not mushy.
- 10. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving warm.
