- 500G Loose Besan
- - Rice Flour
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Wash and pat dry the tilapia fish fillets, then cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, rice flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt.
- 3. Gradually add water to the flour mixture to create a thick, lump-free batter.
- 4. Finely chop the coriander leaves and mix them into the batter for added freshness.
- 5. Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat until it’s hot enough for frying.
- 6. Dip each fish piece into the batter, ensuring it is fully coated.
- 7. Carefully place the batter-coated fish pieces into the hot oil and fry until golden and crispy.
- 8. Remove the pakoras with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 9. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves and serve warm with mint chutney or ketchup.
