  • 1 pack (200 g) Ifb Fresh Catch Prawns | Medium
  • 1 kg Rice
  • - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
  • - Onion-250 Gms
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • - Rock Salt
  • 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the prawns thoroughly under cold water and set them aside to drain.
  2. 2. Wash the rice and soak it in water for 15 minutes while preparing the other ingredients.
  3. 3. Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, allowing them to sizzle and release their aroma.
  4. 4. Add finely chopped onion to the pan and sauté until golden brown, stirring frequently to avoid burning.
  5. 5. Stir in minced garlic and freshly grated turmeric, cooking for an additional 2 minutes to enhance the flavors.
  6. 6. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, and rock salt, mixing well into the sautéed mixture.
  7. 7. Introduce the frozen mixed vegetables and stir to coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
  8. 8. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan, stirring gently to combine with the vegetables and spices.
