Ingredients
- 200 g Paneer
- 1 kg Rice
- 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Jeera
- - Bay Leaf
- 250g Green Chilli
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside in a bowl for marination.
- 2. Mix yogurt, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and salt to make the marinade.
- 3. Coat the paneer cubes with the marinade and let it rest for 20 minutes.
- 4. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it for 15 minutes before cooking.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaf, and green chilies; sauté until aromatic.
- 6. Add the soaked rice and 300 ml water; cook on medium heat until the rice is fully cooked and fluffy.
- 7. In a separate pan, heat oil and grill the marinated paneer cubes for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
- 8. Layer the cooked rice in serving bowls and top with the golden paneer tikka.
- 9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
