Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer
  • 1 kg Rice
  • 125 ml Flavoured Yogurt Drink - Mango
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 100 g Salt
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Jeera
  • - Bay Leaf
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut the paneer into cubes and set aside in a bowl for marination.
  2. 2. Mix yogurt, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, and salt to make the marinade.
  3. 3. Coat the paneer cubes with the marinade and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  4. 4. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it for 15 minutes before cooking.
  5. 5. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaf, and green chilies; sauté until aromatic.
  6. 6. Add the soaked rice and 300 ml water; cook on medium heat until the rice is fully cooked and fluffy.
  7. 7. In a separate pan, heat oil and grill the marinated paneer cubes for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
  8. 8. Layer the cooked rice in serving bowls and top with the golden paneer tikka.
  9. 9. Garnish with chopped cilantro and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice before serving.
