Ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 200 g Paneer
- 250 g Spinach
- 500 g Onion
- - Tomato Ketchup
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and cook the basmati rice in water until fluffy, then set aside.
- 2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them splutter for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger, sauté until golden brown.
- 4. Add chopped tomatoes along with turmeric, red chili, and coriander powder, then cook until tomatoes soften.
- 5. Add spinach leaves and stir well until they wilt and blend with the masala.
- 6. Cut paneer into cubes and gently add to the pan, stirring to coat with the spices.
- 7. Sprinkle salt and cook for 5 minutes, ensuring paneer stays soft and spinach is well cooked.
- 8. Serve the spinach-paneer mixture over the cooked rice and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
