Ingredients

  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 200 g Paneer
  • 250 g Spinach
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 100 g Salt
  • - Coriander Powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse and cook the basmati rice in water until fluffy, then set aside.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, letting them splutter for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger, sauté until golden brown.
  4. 4. Add chopped tomatoes along with turmeric, red chili, and coriander powder, then cook until tomatoes soften.
  5. 5. Add spinach leaves and stir well until they wilt and blend with the masala.
  6. 6. Cut paneer into cubes and gently add to the pan, stirring to coat with the spices.
  7. 7. Sprinkle salt and cook for 5 minutes, ensuring paneer stays soft and spinach is well cooked.
  8. 8. Serve the spinach-paneer mixture over the cooked rice and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
