- - MASOOR DAL SPECIAL 500GM
- 180 g Button Mushroom
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- 50 g Pluckk Organic Curry Leaves
- 200 g Whole Farm Premium Black Small Mustard Seeds
- - Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix 50g Pouch
- - Ginger Powder
- 500 G Preserved Dried Salted Black Beans
- 180 g Vinegar
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- - MF GARLIC CLOVES 100GM
- - Onion-250 Gms
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the masoor dal thoroughly under running water to remove impurities.
- 2. Boil the masoor dal in 300 ml of water with a pinch of salt until tender, about 15 minutes.
- 3. Wash and slice the button mushrooms into thin pieces for even cooking.
- 4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, allowing them to crackle for 30 seconds.
- 5. Add curry leaves to the pan and sauté until aromatic, approximately 1 minute.
- 6. Stir in ginger powder, fresh turmeric, and Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix, cooking for another minute.
- 7. Add preserved dried salted black beans and vinegar, mixing well to create a tangy base.
- 8. Toss in the sliced mushrooms, stirring to coat them evenly with the spice mix.
- 9. Cook the mushrooms on medium heat until they release their moisture and become tender, around 7–8 minutes.
- 10. Add the boiled masoor dal to the pan and mix thoroughly with the mushrooms and spices.
- 11. Simmer the stir-fry for 2–3 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.
- 12. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and adjust salt, if necessary, before serving.
