Ingredients
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- Pcs Balaji Moong Dal
- 1 Bunch Mint Leaves (Pudina)
- 1 pack (500 g) Bhagyalakshmi Rice Flour
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the split yellow moong dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 4 hours or overnight.
- 2. Drain the soaked dal and blend it with 100 ml water until it forms a smooth batter.
- 3. Add rice flour, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and 1 tsp salt to the batter and mix well.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil.
- 5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly into a thin pancake.
- 6. Cook the pancake on medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden on one side, then flip and cook the other side.
- 7. Repeat the process for the remaining batter, adding oil as needed, to make the pancakes.
- 8. For the salsa, finely chop fresh tomatoes, mint leaves, and green chilies.
- 9. Combine the chopped ingredients in a bowl and season with 0.5 tsp salt, lemon juice, and mix thoroughly.
