Ingredients
- 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
- - Rice Flour
- 250 g Carrot
- 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
- 500 g Onion
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250g Green Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 100G Oleo
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Soak the moong dal in water for 3-4 hours, then drain and blend into a smooth batter with 120 ml water.
- 2. Mix the moong dal batter with rice flour, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and salt until smooth.
- 3. Finely chop carrots, capsicum, onion, green chilies, and coriander leaves for the filling.
- 4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped veggies with a pinch of salt until tender and aromatic.
- 5. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle of moong dal batter, spreading it into a thin pancake.
- 6. Cook the pancake on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side briefly.
- 7. Place some sautéed veggie filling in the center of the cooked pancake while it's still warm.
- 8. Roll or fold the pancake around the filling gently to form a wrap-like structure.
- 9. Repeat the process for the remaining batter and filling to make additional pancakes.
- 10. Serve the pancakes warm, garnished with fresh coriander leaves or a side of chutney.
