Ingredients

  • 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
  • - Rice Flour
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 500 g Onion
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100G Oleo
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the moong dal in water for 3-4 hours, then drain and blend into a smooth batter with 120 ml water.
  2. 2. Mix the moong dal batter with rice flour, turmeric powder, cumin powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. 3. Finely chop carrots, capsicum, onion, green chilies, and coriander leaves for the filling.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped veggies with a pinch of salt until tender and aromatic.
  5. 5. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle of moong dal batter, spreading it into a thin pancake.
  6. 6. Cook the pancake on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side briefly.
  7. 7. Place some sautéed veggie filling in the center of the cooked pancake while it's still warm.
  8. 8. Roll or fold the pancake around the filling gently to form a wrap-like structure.
  9. 9. Repeat the process for the remaining batter and filling to make additional pancakes.
  10. 10. Serve the pancakes warm, garnished with fresh coriander leaves or a side of chutney.
