- - Rice Flour
- - Coriander Powder
- 250g Green Chilli
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Garlic
- 500 g Sugar
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and soak the moong dal in water for 4 hours, then drain completely.
- 2. Grind the soaked dal with green chilies, ginger, and cumin seeds into a coarse paste.
- 3. Add rice flour, chopped coriander leaves, and salt to the dal paste and mix well.
- 4. Heat oil in a deep pan, scoop small portions of the batter, and fry until golden brown.
- 5. Drain the fritters on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- 6. To prepare the mint dip, blend mint leaves, garlic, lemon juice, sugar, and water until smooth.
- 7. Taste the mint dip and adjust salt or sweetness if needed.
- 8. Serve the crispy moong dal fritters warm with the tangy mint dip on the side.
