Ingredients
- - Rice Flour
- 250g Green Chilli
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Salt
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
- 100 g Curry Leaves
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Soak the split yellow moong dal in water for 4 hours and drain it well.
- 2. Grind the moong dal with green chilies, ginger, and a little water to make a smooth batter.
- 3. Add rice flour and salt to the batter, mixing thoroughly until lump-free.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan and grease it lightly with oil using a brush or tissue.
- 5. Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it out thinly in circular motions.
- 6. Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until golden and crisp on one side.
- 7. Flip the dosa carefully and cook the other side for a minute before removing it from the pan.
- 8. To prepare the chutney, blend grated coconut, tamarind pulp, and coriander leaves with water into a smooth paste.
- 9. Heat oil in a small pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves for tempering.
- 10. Pour the tempering over the chutney and mix well before serving.
- 11. Serve the golden dosas hot with the creamy coconut chutney on the side.
