Ingredients

  • - Rice Flour
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Salt
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
  • 100 g Curry Leaves
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the split yellow moong dal in water for 4 hours and drain it well.
  2. 2. Grind the moong dal with green chilies, ginger, and a little water to make a smooth batter.
  3. 3. Add rice flour and salt to the batter, mixing thoroughly until lump-free.
  4. 4. Heat a non-stick pan and grease it lightly with oil using a brush or tissue.
  5. 5. Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it out thinly in circular motions.
  6. 6. Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until golden and crisp on one side.
  7. 7. Flip the dosa carefully and cook the other side for a minute before removing it from the pan.
  8. 8. To prepare the chutney, blend grated coconut, tamarind pulp, and coriander leaves with water into a smooth paste.
  9. 9. Heat oil in a small pan and add mustard seeds and curry leaves for tempering.
  10. 10. Pour the tempering over the chutney and mix well before serving.
  11. 11. Serve the golden dosas hot with the creamy coconut chutney on the side.
