Ingredients

  • 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
  • 1 pack (500 g) Bhagyalakshmi Rice Flour
  • 1 Bunch Mint Leaves (Pudina)
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
  • loose Ginger
  • 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
  • 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
  • 100G Sur Black Salt
  • 50 g Puramate Baking Soda
  • 500 ml Oil (For Frying)

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse and soak the moong dal in water for 3 hours, then drain and blend into a smooth paste with water.
  2. 2. Add rice flour, cumin seeds, black salt, salt, and baking soda to the moong dal paste, mixing well to form a batter.
  3. 3. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with vegetable oil using a brush or paper towel.
  4. 4. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it thinly to form a crepe. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown on one side.
  5. 5. Flip the crepe and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes. Repeat for the remaining batter to make all crepes.
  6. 6. To prepare the mint chutney, combine mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, salt, and water in a blender.
