- 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
- 1 pack (500 g) Bhagyalakshmi Rice Flour
- 1 Bunch Mint Leaves (Pudina)
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
- loose Ginger
- 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 100G Sur Black Salt
- 50 g Puramate Baking Soda
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and soak the moong dal in water for 3 hours, then drain and blend into a smooth paste with water.
- 2. Add rice flour, cumin seeds, black salt, salt, and baking soda to the moong dal paste, mixing well to form a batter.
- 3. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with vegetable oil using a brush or paper towel.
- 4. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it thinly to form a crepe. Cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown on one side.
- 5. Flip the crepe and cook the other side for 1-2 minutes. Repeat for the remaining batter to make all crepes.
- 6. To prepare the mint chutney, combine mint leaves, coriander leaves, green chilies, garlic, ginger, lemon juice, salt, and water in a blender.
- 7. Blend the chutney ingredients into a smooth paste, adjusting the consistency with water as needed.
