Ingredients

  • 1pc Watermelon
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Salt
  • 500 g Onion
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 1 piece Yellow Bell Pepper
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • - Coriander Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the split green moong dal in water for 4 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. Blend the moong dal with water, turmeric, cumin, and salt to form a smooth batter.
  3. 3. Heat a non-stick pan and spread a ladle of batter thinly to make a chilla.
  4. 4. Cook each chilla for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy.
  5. 5. Chop the onion, carrot, capsicum, tomato, coriander leaves, and green chili finely.
  6. 6. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the chopped vegetables with coriander powder and red chili powder.
  7. 7. Cook until the vegetables are tender and spices are well blended, then set aside to cool slightly.
  8. 8. Place a portion of the spiced vegetable filling onto each chilla.
  9. 9. Roll the chilla tightly around the filling to form wraps.
  10. 10. Serve hot, garnished with fresh coriander leaves if desired.
