Ingredients
- 1Kg Potato
- - Green Peas
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 45 g Garam Masala
- - Red Chilli
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- - Besan
- 100G Oleo
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak split green moong dal in water for 3 hours, then drain well.
- 2. Boil potatoes until soft, peel, and mash them thoroughly.
- 3. Finely chop carrots, onions, and coriander leaves, and keep aside.
- 4. Steam green peas and carrots until tender, then mash lightly.
- 5. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, soaked moong dal, and besan.
- 6. Add garam masala, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and salt to the mixture.
- 7. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to form a smooth dough-like consistency.
- 8. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into round patties or kebabs.
- 9. Heat cooking oil in a pan on medium flame until hot.
- 10. Pan-fry the kebabs in batches, flipping occasionally, until golden brown on both sides.
- 11. Remove the kebabs from the pan and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 12. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
- 13. Serve hot with mint chutney or tamarind sauce for added flavor.
