- 500 g Whole Farm Premium Kangni/Foxtail Millet
- 500 g Spt Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 50 g Pluckk Organic Curry Leaves
- - Ginger Powder
- 100 g Orika Big Mustard Seeds
- 100 g Mix Seeds
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the foxtail millet thoroughly under running water and set aside to drain.
- 2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat and add mustard seeds until they start to splutter.
- 3. Add curry leaves, chopped onions, and green chilies to the pan, stirring until the onions turn translucent.
- 4. Stir in the ginger powder and Suhaana Dal Makhani Spice Mix, cooking for a minute to release their aroma.
- 5. Add diced tomatoes and cook until they soften and blend with the spices.
- 6. Mix in the frozen mixed vegetables and sauté for 3-4 minutes until they are slightly tender.
- 7. Add the rinsed millet and stir well to coat it evenly with the spices and vegetables.
- 8. Pour water into the pan and add salt, stirring to combine. Cover and cook on low heat for 15 minutes.
- 9. Check the millet for doneness; it should be fluffy and absorb the water completely.
- 10. Turn off the heat and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
