- 500 g Whole Farm Premium Kangni/Foxtail Millet
- - Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- - PARACHUTE COCONUT OIL 100ML
- 100 g Orika Big Mustard Seeds
- 50 g Pluckk Organic Curry Leaves
- medium Chilli Green Long
- - Ginger Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the millet thoroughly under running water and set it aside to drain.
- 2. Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium heat and add mustard seeds. Let them splutter.
- 3. Add curry leaves, chopped green chilies, and ginger powder to the pan, stirring for 30 seconds.
- 4. Toss in the frozen mixed vegetables and sauté for 2-3 minutes until slightly softened.
- 5. Sprinkle turmeric powder and salt. Stir well to combine with the vegetables.
- 6. Add the drained millet to the pan and mix thoroughly with the vegetables and spices.
- 7. Pour in water and bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat.
- 8. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the millet cook for 15 minutes until tender and water is absorbed.
- 9. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.
- 10. Once cooked, fluff the millet with a fork and garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
