Golden Millet and Lentil Stir-Fry recipe

Ingredients

  • - Matcha Powder
  • - Toned Milk
  • 500 g Whole Farm Premium Kangni/Foxtail Millet - 500 G
  • 100 g Yellow Mustard Seeds
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 100 g Salt
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the millet and red lentils thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Boil the millet and lentils together in 300 ml of water until cooked and fluffy.
  3. 3. Heat vegetable oil in a large pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds until they crackle.
  4. 4. Add chopped carrots, green beans, and green chilies to the pan and sauté for 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt over the vegetables.
  6. 6. Stir well to coat the vegetables evenly with the spices.
  7. 7. Add the cooked millet and lentils to the pan and mix thoroughly.
  8. 8. Cook the mixture for 5 minutes while stirring occasionally to prevent sticking.
  9. 9. Garnish the stir-fry with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
  10. 10. Serve hot with a side of fresh salad or yogurt (if vegan-friendly).
