Ingredients
- 500G Tata Masoor Dal M
- - Rice Flour
- 1Kg Potato
- 250g Green Chilli
- loose Ginger
- - Coriander Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 100 g Garlic
- 100 g Salt
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak masoor dal for 30 minutes, then cook until soft and drain excess water.
- 2. Mash the boiled masoor dal and mix it with mashed potatoes in a large bowl.
- 3. Add rice flour, green chili, ginger, coriander leaves, cumin powder, turmeric, and salt to the bowl.
- 4. Mix the ingredients thoroughly to form a dough that holds together well.
- 5. Shape the mixture into small round cutlets, ensuring even thickness for uniform cooking.
- 6. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and shallow fry the cutlets until golden brown on both sides.
- 7. For the chutney, blend mint leaves, coriander leaves, lemon juice, garlic (optional), and salt into a smooth paste.
- 8. Serve the golden masoor dal cutlets hot with the freshly prepared mint chutney.
