Ingredients
- 1Kg Potato
- 500 g Onion
- 250g Green Chilli
- 1 Kg R.C. Fish
- - Coriander Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100 g Salt
- - Rice Flour
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
Instructions
- 1. Boil the fish and potatoes until tender, then remove the fish bones and mash the flesh with the boiled potatoes.
- 2. Finely chop the onion, green chilies, and coriander leaves, and mix them into the mashed fish and potatoes.
- 3. Add ginger-garlic paste, turmeric, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt to the mixture, combining well until evenly seasoned.
- 4. Shape the mixture into medium-sized cutlets and coat each with rice flour for added crispiness.
- 5. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat, ensuring it's hot enough for shallow frying.
- 6. Carefully place the cutlets into the pan and fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides, flipping gently halfway through.
- 7. Remove the cutlets from the pan and let them rest briefly on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- 8. Serve the cutlets warm with green chutney or a squeeze of lime for a zesty kick.
