Ingredients
- 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
- - Rice Flour
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 250g Green Chilli
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Garlic
- 100 g Jeera
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the yellow moong dal in water for 4 hours or overnight.
- 2. Drain the dal and blend it into a coarse paste with garlic, ginger, and green chilies.
- 3. Mix rice flour, cumin seeds, turmeric, and salt into the dal paste until well combined.
- 4. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying, ensuring it's hot but not smoking.
- 5. Scoop small portions of the batter and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
- 6. Fry the fritters until golden and crisp, turning occasionally for even cooking.
- 7. Remove the fritters with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 8. Blend mint, coriander, lemon juice, green chilies, salt, and water into a smooth chutney.
- 9. Adjust the seasoning of the chutney as needed, ensuring it has a tangy and fresh flavor.
