Ingredients

  • 1 kg Yellow Moong Dal
  • - Rice Flour
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Garlic
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and soak the yellow moong dal in water for 4 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. Drain the dal and blend it into a coarse paste with garlic, ginger, and green chilies.
  3. 3. Mix rice flour, cumin seeds, turmeric, and salt into the dal paste until well combined.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a deep pan for frying, ensuring it's hot but not smoking.
  5. 5. Scoop small portions of the batter and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
  6. 6. Fry the fritters until golden and crisp, turning occasionally for even cooking.
  7. 7. Remove the fritters with a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil.
