  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 200 ml Coconut Milk
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Jeera
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1 l Soyabean Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the red lentils thoroughly under running water until the water runs clear.
  2. 2. Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or pan and add cumin seeds; sauté until aromatic.
  3. 3. Finely chop the onion, garlic, and ginger, then add them to the pot and cook until golden brown.
  4. 4. Dice the tomato and stir it into the pot; cook until softened and blended with the onion mixture.
  5. 5. Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder; mix well to coat the vegetables in spices.
  6. 6. Pour in the coconut milk and water, stirring to combine and create a creamy base for the stew.
