- - Baby Tomatoes
- 200 ml Coconut Milk
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- 100G Oleo
- 100 g Salt
- - Coriander Powder
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and cook the red lentils until soft, then mash them lightly.
- 2. Finely chop the spinach leaves and mix them with the mashed lentils.
- 3. Add salt, turmeric, and coriander powder to the lentil-spinach mixture; shape into small koftas.
- 4. Heat oil in a pan and shallow-fry the koftas until golden brown; set aside.
- 5. In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds; let them splutter.
- 6. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger; sauté until fragrant and golden.
- 7. Purée the tomatoes and add them to the pan; cook until the oil separates.
- 8. Stir in turmeric, chili powder, and garam masala; mix well.
- 9. Pour coconut milk into the tomato mixture; bring to a gentle simmer.
- 10. Add the fried koftas to the curry and simmer for 5 minutes to absorb flavors.
- 11. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves before serving.
