- 1 pack (25 g) Popular Essentials Cinnamon Split
- 250 g Spinach
- - Rice Flour
- - Ginger Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- - Cumin Seeds / Jeera Seeds-250 Gms
- 100 g Salt
- 1 kg Water Chestnuts
- 1 ltr Pansari Tilsari Edible Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash the lentils thoroughly and soak them in water for 30 minutes before cooking.
- 2. Boil the lentils with turmeric and salt until soft and mushy, then set aside to cool slightly.
- 3. Rinse and chop the spinach into fine pieces, ensuring even distribution in the mix.
- 4. Heat oil in a pan and sauté cumin seeds, ginger powder, and chili powder until aromatic.
- 5. Add the cooked lentils and spinach to the pan, stirring well to combine with the spices.
- 6. Cook the mixture until the spinach wilts and the lentils thicken into a moist filling.
- 7. In a bowl, mix rice flour with water and a pinch of salt to form a smooth dough.
- 8. Divide the dough into small balls and roll out thin rotis using a flat surface and rolling pin.
- 9. Heat a tawa or flat pan and cook the rotis on both sides until lightly golden and pliable.
- 10. Spoon the lentil-spinach mixture onto each roti and carefully roll to form tight hand rolls.
- 11. Place the rolls into an air fryer and cook at 180°C for 5 minutes to ensure crisp edges.
