Ingredients
- 250 g Tendercuts Basa Boneless Fillet F&S
- 1 pack (500 g) Bhagyalakshmi Rice Flour
- 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
- 100g Greek Yogurt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
Instructions
- 1. Cut the fish fillets into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with a paper towel.
- 2. In a bowl, mix ginger garlic paste, yogurt, turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, salt, and lemon juice to form a marinade.
- 3. Coat the fish pieces evenly with the marinade and let them rest for 15 minutes.
- 4. In another bowl, mix rice flour with a pinch of salt and just enough water to form a dough for flatbread.
- 5. Divide the rice flour dough into small portions and roll each into thin flatbreads using a rolling pin.
- 6. Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil and cook each flatbread until golden and slightly crispy on both sides.
- 7. Heat oil in another pan and sear the marinated fish pieces on medium heat until cooked through and golden brown on both sides.
- 8. Sprinkle chopped fresh coriander over the cooked fish tikka for freshness.
- 9. Serve the fish tikka alongside the crispy rice flour flatbreads while still warm.
