Ingredients

  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 6 pcs White Eggs
  • - Baby Tomatoes
  • 100G Oleo
  • 100 g Jeera
  • - Bay Leaf
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 100 g Salt
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water for 20 minutes, then drain it completely.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a large pan, add cumin seeds and bay leaf, and sauté until aromatic.
  3. 3. Add sliced onions and fry until they turn golden brown, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies, cooking for 2 minutes.
  5. 5. Add diced tomatoes and cook until they soften and blend into the mixture.
  6. 6. Sprinkle turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala, mixing well.
  7. 7. Add the soaked rice to the pan and sauté gently to coat with the spices.
  8. 8. Pour water into the pan, season with salt, and bring to a boil.
  9. 9. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the rice cook for 15 minutes.
  10. 10. Meanwhile, beat the eggs lightly and fry them in a separate pan until golden.
  11. 11. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it lightly with a fork to loosen the grains.
  12. 12. Arrange the fried eggs on top of the rice and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
  13. 13. Cover and let the dish rest for 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
  14. 14. Serve warm, ensuring each plate gets a generous portion of rice and eggs.
