Ingredients
- 1 kg Basmati Rice
- 6 pcs White Eggs
- - Baby Tomatoes
- 100G Oleo
- 100 g Jeera
- - Bay Leaf
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 45 g Garam Masala
- - Coriander Powder
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the basmati rice in water for 20 minutes, then drain it completely.
- 2. Heat oil in a large pan, add cumin seeds and bay leaf, and sauté until aromatic.
- 3. Add sliced onions and fry until they turn golden brown, stirring occasionally.
- 4. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies, cooking for 2 minutes.
- 5. Add diced tomatoes and cook until they soften and blend into the mixture.
- 6. Sprinkle turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and garam masala, mixing well.
- 7. Add the soaked rice to the pan and sauté gently to coat with the spices.
- 8. Pour water into the pan, season with salt, and bring to a boil.
- 9. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let the rice cook for 15 minutes.
- 10. Meanwhile, beat the eggs lightly and fry them in a separate pan until golden.
- 11. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it lightly with a fork to loosen the grains.
- 12. Arrange the fried eggs on top of the rice and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- 13. Cover and let the dish rest for 5 minutes to meld the flavors.
- 14. Serve warm, ensuring each plate gets a generous portion of rice and eggs.
