Ingredients

  • 400G Freshos Corn Kernels
  • 1 pack (500 g) Natureland Organics Chana Besan
  • 1.82 kg Saffola Gold Blend Of Rice Bran & Corn Blended Cooking Oil
  • 500 ml Conscious Food Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
  • 1 kg Akar Powder Salt
  • 1 pack (500 g) Daily Good Turmeric - Haldi Powder
  • 100 g Tata Sampann Whole Spices Cumin Seed

Instructions

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 can of corn, 1 cup of Jain-friendly pancake mix, 1/4 cup of melted butter, 1/4 teaspoon of hing, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder. Mix well to form a thick batter.
  2. 2. Heat a small amount of cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. 3. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, flattening slightly to form patties.
  4. 4. Fry the patties for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. 5. Remove the patties from the pan and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
  6. 6. Serve the patties hot with a side of mint chutney or a Jain-friendly dipping sauce.
