Ingredients
- 500G Loose Besan
- 250 g Spinach
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Salt
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 1pc Watermelon
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
Instructions
- 1. Wash and finely chop the spinach and coriander leaves.
- 2. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, turmeric, salt, and cumin seeds.
- 3. Gradually add water to the flour mixture, whisking to create a smooth batter.
- 4. Fold in the chopped spinach, green chilies, and coriander leaves into the batter.
- 5. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil.
- 6. Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a pancake.
- 7. Cook the pancake on medium heat until golden brown on one side, about 3 minutes.
- 8. Flip the pancake and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked through.
- 9. Repeat the process for the remaining batter, adding oil as needed.
- 10. Serve the pancakes warm, optionally with a side of mint chutney or yogurt.
