Ingredients
- 500G Loose Besan
- 1pc Watermelon
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 100 g Salt
- - Red Chilli
- 200 g Paneer
- - Coriander Powder
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
Instructions
- 1. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, water, turmeric, cumin, salt, and chili powder to make a smooth batter.
- 2. Wash and finely chop the mixed vegetables and fresh coriander leaves.
- 3. Grate the paneer and mix it with the chopped vegetables and coriander in a separate bowl.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil using a brush or paper towel.
- 5. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to form a thin pancake.
- 6. Cook the chilla on medium heat until the edges lift and the bottom turns golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
- 7. Remove the cooked chilla and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
- 8. Place a portion of the vegetable-paneer mixture onto one side of each chilla.
- 9. Squeeze a few drops of lemon juice over the filling to enhance the flavor.
- 10. Fold the chilla over the filling and press gently to seal.
- 11. Serve the stuffed chickpea chillas warm with green chutney or yogurt on the side.
