Ingredients

  • 400G Chtoura Foods Boiled Chickpeas In Brine
  • 1 Kg Spinach/Palak (Approx 1 Kg)
  • - Rice Flour
  • - Ginger Powder
  • - Garlic Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Cumin Seeds / Jeera Seeds-250 Gms
  • - Rock Salt
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 250 ml Lemon Juice Concentrate
  • 1 ltr Pansari Tilsari Edible Vegetable Oil

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and finely chop the fresh spinach leaves and set them aside.
  2. 2. Mash the boiled chickpeas with a fork until they form a coarse paste.
  3. 3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed chickpeas, chopped spinach, and rice flour.
  4. 4. Add ginger powder, garlic powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin seeds, and rock salt to the mixture.
  5. 5. Mix everything thoroughly and add lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves for freshness.
  6. 6. Gradually add water while mixing to form a firm dough that is easy to shape.
  7. 7. Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into round tikkis, pressing gently to flatten.
