- 200 g Spinach (Palak)
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
- - Ginger Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 100 g Orika Big Mustard Seeds
- 140 g Modern Kitchens Raita Boondi - 100 % Rice Bran Oil
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
Instructions
- 1. Peel and finely chop the onion, garlic cloves, and tomato for the stir-fry preparation.
- 2. Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds. Let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the pan. Sauté until the onion turns golden and fragrant.
- 4. Stir in the chopped tomato, ginger powder, turmeric, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook until the tomatoes soften and the spices blend well.
- 5. Add the cooked chickpeas to the pan and stir to coat them with the spice mixture evenly.
- 6. Pour in 50 ml of water and let the chickpeas simmer for 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.
- 7. Gently fold in the fresh spinach and cook until it wilts completely, about 2-3 minutes.
