- 140 g Peri Peri Chickpeas
- 200 g Spinach (Palak)
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Coriander Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds until they sizzle and release their aroma.
- 2. Add finely chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until golden and fragrant, about 3 minutes.
- 3. Stir in diced tomatoes, turmeric, coriander powder, and red chili powder, cooking until the tomatoes soften and the mixture thickens.
- 4. Add boiled chickpeas to the pan, stir well to coat them in the spice mixture, and cook for 5 minutes.
- 5. Add fresh spinach to the pan and pour in water to help it wilt; stir continuously for even cooking.
- 6. Season with salt and cook until the spinach is fully wilted and the chickpeas are tender, about 5 minutes.
- 7. Turn off the heat, garnish with fresh coriander leaves, and give everything a final stir.
