Ingredients
- 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
- 250 g Freshcon Cooked Kabuli Chana (Chick Peas)
- 200 g Spinach (Palak)
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- - Ginger Powder
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 100 g Mix Seeds
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and soak the rice for 10 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Heat oil in a deep pan and add cumin seeds, allowing them to sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown, stirring frequently.
- 4. Stir in minced garlic, ginger powder, and turmeric powder, cooking for 1 minute to release the aroma.
- 5. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until softened, forming a thick base.
- 6. Mix in the cooked chickpeas, spinach, and Suvarna Dal Makhani Spice Mix, ensuring even coating.
- 7. Add the soaked rice and gently mix to combine with the vegetable mixture.
- 8. Pour in water, season with salt, and bring to a boil over medium heat.
- 9. Reduce heat to low, cover the pan, and let the rice cook for 15 minutes until fluffy.
