Ingredients

  • - Tong Garden Cheddar N Jalapeno Chickpeas
  • 250 g Spinach
  • Pcs Bikaji Bikaneri Bhujia 35g
  • - Baby Tomatoes
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 45 g Garam Masala
  • 100 g Salt
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Mash the boiled chickpeas in a bowl until smooth and lump-free.
  2. 2. Add chopped spinach, gram flour, and half the spices to the mashed chickpeas and mix thoroughly.
  3. 3. Shape the mixture into small balls (koftas) and set aside.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas until golden brown, then remove and keep aside.
  5. 5. In the same pan, sauté onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies until fragrant and golden.
  6. 6. Add the tomato puree and remaining spices to the pan, cooking until the oil separates.
  7. 7. Pour water into the pan to adjust the gravy consistency and bring it to a boil.
  8. 8. Gently add the fried koftas to the simmering gravy and cook for 5 minutes.
  9. 9. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves before serving.
  10. 10. Serve hot with steamed rice or flatbread of your choice.
