- 1 pack (250 g) Venkys Chicken Kheema
- 1 kg Rice
- - Onion-250 Gms
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Wash the rice thoroughly under running water and soak it for 15 minutes.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.
- 3. Add minced garlic and green chilies to the pan, stirring for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
- 4. Stir in the chicken mince and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it apart to ensure even cooking.
- 5. Mix turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt into the chicken, cooking for another 3 minutes.
- 6. Add the soaked rice to the pan and stir gently to coat it with the spices.
- 7. Pour in water, bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and cover the pan with a lid.
- 8. Cook for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is fully absorbed.
- 9. Turn off the heat and let it rest covered for 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- 10. Garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves before serving.
