Ingredients

  • 1 pack (250 g) Venkys Chicken Kheema
  • 1 kg Rice
  • - Onion-250 Gms
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 50 g Everest Cumin Powder
  • medium Chilli Green Long
  • 850 g Sundrop Heart+ Blended Cooking Oil
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash the rice thoroughly under running water and soak it for 15 minutes.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.
  3. 3. Add minced garlic and green chilies to the pan, stirring for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
  4. 4. Stir in the chicken mince and cook for 5 minutes, breaking it apart to ensure even cooking.
  5. 5. Mix turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt into the chicken, cooking for another 3 minutes.
  6. 6. Add the soaked rice to the pan and stir gently to coat it with the spices.
  7. 7. Pour in water, bring it to a boil, then lower the heat and cover the pan with a lid.
  8. 8. Cook for 15 minutes or until the rice is tender and water is fully absorbed.
  9. 9. Turn off the heat and let it rest covered for 5 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
