Ingredients

  • 500 g Chana Dal
  • 1 kg Rice
  • - Coconut Oil
  • 500 g Onion
  • - Tomato Ketchup
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak chana dal and rice in water for 6-8 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. Blend the soaked chana dal and rice with water to a smooth batter consistency.
  3. 3. Heat coconut oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
  4. 4. Add finely chopped onions, green chilies, and cook until onions turn golden brown.
  5. 5. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
  6. 6. Add spinach leaves to the pan and sauté until they wilt and mix well with the spices.
  7. 7. Heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle of batter, spreading it thin to form a dosa.
  8. 8. Cook the dosa until golden brown on one side, then flip and cook for another minute.
  9. 9. Place a portion of the spinach filling in the center of the dosa and roll it tightly.
  10. 10. Repeat the process for the remaining batter and filling to make wraps.
