Ingredients
- 500 G Kinwaaquinoa
- 200 g Organigram Chia Seeds
- 1 Combo Fortune Rice Bran 1L & Mustard Oil 1L Pet
- 1 kg Whole Farm Grocery Sugar (Packet)
- 45 g On1Y Cinnamon Powder
- 100 g Puramate Icing Sugar
- 500 ml American Garden Apple Cider Vinegar
Instructions
- 1. Cook 6 cups of quinoa according to package instructions and let it cool completely.
- 2. In a large bowl, combine the cooled quinoa with 3 tablespoons of chia seeds mixed with 9 tablespoons of water and mix thoroughly.
- 3. Add 1 cup of sugar, 1 1/2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar to the quinoa mixture. Stir until evenly combined.
- 4. Heat a deep pan with enough oil for frying over medium-high heat until very hot.
- 5. Drop the quinoa mixture by tablespoonfuls into the hot oil and fry in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- 6. Serve warm, optionally sprinkled with powdered sugar for added sweetness.
