Ingredients
- 300 g Nutrich Chicken Thigh Boneless
- 1 pack (1 kg) 921 Everyday Long Grain Rice
- - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
- 100 g Dabur Honey
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 1 ltr Anveshan Cold Pressed Black Sesame Oil
- 200 G Spring Onion(200Gm)
- 100 g Supreme Harvest White Sesame Seeds
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 25 g Whole Black Pepper
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
- 2. Add the rinsed rice to a pot with 300 ml of water, bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer and cook until the water is absorbed.
- 3. While the rice cooks, finely grate the ginger and mince the garlic for the glaze.
- 4. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic, and mix well.
- 5. Heat sesame oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat and add the chicken thighs.
- 6. Sear the chicken on both sides until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- 7. Pour the ginger soy mixture over the chicken and reduce the heat to low.
- 8. Allow the chicken to simmer in the sauce for 8-10 minutes, basting occasionally, until fully cooked and glazed.
- 9. Slice the spring onions thinly and toast the sesame seeds in a dry pan for 1-2 minutes.
- 10. Fluff the cooked rice with a fork and divide it between two serving plates.
- 11. Place the glazed chicken on top of the rice and drizzle any remaining sauce over the dish.
- 12. Garnish with sliced spring onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
