Ingredients
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- 25 g Whole Black Pepper
- 1 pack (200 g) Godrej Real Good Medium Prawns Peeled & Deveined (Freshly Frozen)
- 250 g Jasmine Rice
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- - Dark Soy Sauce-90 GM
- 1 ltr Anveshan Cold Pressed Black Sesame Oil
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 200 G Spring Onion(200Gm)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the jasmine rice thoroughly under cold water and soak it for 15 minutes.
- 2. In a pot, bring 300 ml of water to a boil, add the soaked rice, and cook on low heat until tender.
- 3. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- 4. Add the chopped garlic and stir-fry until aromatic and golden brown, about 1 minute.
- 5. Toss in the prawns and cook until they turn pink and opaque, around 4-5 minutes.
- 6. Stir in the black pepper, soy sauce, and sesame oil, ensuring the prawns are evenly coated.
- 7. Add the sliced red chili and spring onions, then stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- 8. Taste and adjust salt if necessary, keeping in mind the soy sauce's saltiness.
- 9. Turn off the heat and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
