  • 100 g Tamarind
  • - Fresh Tofu
  • NaN Kodo Millet
  • 100 g Garlic
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder

  1. 1. Rinse the long grain rice under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
  2. 2. In a pot, bring 300 ml water to a boil, add the rice, turmeric powder, and salt, then reduce heat and simmer covered for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. While the rice cooks, finely chop the garlic cloves and fresh coriander leaves, setting them aside for later use.
  4. 4. Heat a pan over medium heat and add vegetable oil and butter, allowing the butter to melt completely.
  5. 5. Add the chopped garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant, making sure not to burn the garlic.
  6. 6. Stir in the cumin powder, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt, cooking for 30 seconds to bloom the spices.
  7. 7. Add the cleaned prawns to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are fully cooked.
