  • 1 kg Rice
  • 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
  • 100 g Lemon
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 200 G Spring Onion(200Gm)
  • 30G Chili Flakes
  • 910 g Saffola Gold Corn & Rice Bran Refined Blended Cooking Oil (1 Ltr)
  • 100 g Unsalted Butter
  • - Rock Salt
  • 1 kg Water Chestnuts

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse the rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear to remove excess starch.
  2. 2. In a saucepan, add the rice, water, and a pinch of rock salt. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  3. 3. While the rice cooks, heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. 4. Add the prawns to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and opaque.
  5. 5. Stir in the butter, chili flakes, and lemon juice, allowing the butter to melt and coat the prawns evenly.
  6. 6. Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and stir in lemon zest, chopped coriander, and spring onions.
  7. 7. Plate the rice in serving bowls, topping it with the garlic butter prawns.
  8. 8. Garnish with extra coriander and a wedge of lemon for a vibrant presentation.
