- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Tomato - Hybrid
- 1 pc (approx. 250g-500g) Lettuce Iceberg
- - Green Chutney
- 1pc Avocado
- 348 G Salsalito Wrap Tortilla
- Pcs Bri Creamy Cheese
- 200 g Table Salt
- 500 g Wheat Flour / Maida
- 50 g Cumin Powder
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 500 Ml Champion Oil
Instructions
- 1. Gather all the ingredients: 2 ripe avocados, 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 cup breadcrumbs, 1 tsp red chili powder, 1 tsp chaat masala, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp garam masala, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 cup cornstarch, 1/2 cup water, 2 whole wheat tortillas, 1/2 cup shredded lettuce, 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes, 1/4 cup chopped onions, 1/4 cup grated cheese, 1/4 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup mint chutney, salt to taste, and oil for frying.
- 2. Peel and slice the avocados into 1/2-inch thick wedges. Set aside.
- 3. In a shallow bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and a pinch of salt.
- 4. In another shallow bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, chaat masala, garam masala, cumin powder, and coriander powder.
- 5. In a third bowl, make a slurry by mixing the cornstarch and water until smooth.
- 6. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
- 7. Dip each avocado wedge first into the flour mixture, then into the cornstarch slurry, and finally coat it evenly with the breadcrumb mixture.
- 8. Carefully place the coated avocado wedges into the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
