Ingredients

  • 500 g Whole Farm Premium Kangni/Foxtail Millet - 500 G
  • - Baby Tomatoes
  • 100 g Garlic
  • loose Ginger
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Rinse and soak the foxtail millet in water for 15 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. 2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
  3. 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger to the pan; sauté until golden brown and fragrant.
  4. 4. Stir in chopped tomatoes, green chili, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt; cook until tomatoes are softened.
  5. 5. Add lamb chunks to the pan and sauté until lightly browned and coated with spices.
  6. 6. Pour in water, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, allowing the lamb to cook through and absorb flavors.
  7. 7. In another pan, dry roast the drained millet for 2-3 minutes to enhance its nutty flavor.
  8. 8. Add roasted millet to the lamb mixture, stirring well to combine everything evenly.
  9. 9. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 10 minutes, checking occasionally to ensure the millet is cooked and tender.
