- 500 g Whole Farm Premium Kangni/Foxtail Millet - 500 G
- - Baby Tomatoes
- 100 g Garlic
- loose Ginger
- 250g Green Chilli
- 100 g Coriander Leaves
- 100 g Jeera
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse and soak the foxtail millet in water for 15 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them sizzle for 30 seconds.
- 3. Add finely chopped onions, garlic, and ginger to the pan; sauté until golden brown and fragrant.
- 4. Stir in chopped tomatoes, green chili, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt; cook until tomatoes are softened.
- 5. Add lamb chunks to the pan and sauté until lightly browned and coated with spices.
- 6. Pour in water, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes, allowing the lamb to cook through and absorb flavors.
- 7. In another pan, dry roast the drained millet for 2-3 minutes to enhance its nutty flavor.
- 8. Add roasted millet to the lamb mixture, stirring well to combine everything evenly.
- 9. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for 10 minutes, checking occasionally to ensure the millet is cooked and tender.
- 10. Sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander leaves over the dish, mixing gently.
- 11. Turn off the heat and let the stir-fry rest for 5 minutes before serving.
