Ingredients
- - Rice Flour
- - Coriander Powder
- 250g Green Chilli
- loose Ginger
- 100 g Jeera
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Salt
- 1pc Watermelon
Instructions
- 1. Wash and soak the moong dal in water for 4 hours or overnight.
- 2. Drain the dal and grind it into a smooth batter using water as required.
- 3. Add rice flour, salt, and cumin seeds to the batter, mixing well to ensure no lumps.
- 4. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil.
- 5. Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it into a thin circle.
- 6. Cook the chilla on medium heat until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
- 7. Repeat the process to make more chillas, stacking them as they are ready.
- 8. For the chutney, blend coriander, mint, green chilies, ginger, salt, and water until smooth.
- 9. Adjust the consistency of the chutney by adding more water if necessary.
- 10. Serve the chilla stack with the freshly prepared mint-coriander chutney on the side.
