  • - Rice Flour
  • - Coriander Powder
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • loose Ginger
  • 100 g Jeera
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 100 g Salt
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and soak the moong dal in water for 4 hours or overnight.
  2. 2. Drain the dal and grind it into a smooth batter using water as required.
  3. 3. Add rice flour, salt, and cumin seeds to the batter, mixing well to ensure no lumps.
  4. 4. Heat a non-stick pan and lightly grease it with oil.
  5. 5. Pour a ladle of batter onto the pan and spread it into a thin circle.
  6. 6. Cook the chilla on medium heat until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  7. 7. Repeat the process to make more chillas, stacking them as they are ready.
  8. 8. For the chutney, blend coriander, mint, green chilies, ginger, salt, and water until smooth.
  9. 9. Adjust the consistency of the chutney by adding more water if necessary.
  10. 10. Serve the chilla stack with the freshly prepared mint-coriander chutney on the side.
