Ingredients

  • 100 g Almonds
  • 500 g Flax Seeds
  • 125 g Honey Roasted Peanuts
  • 500 g Jaggery Powder
  • 280 Gms Organic Black Sesame Seeds
  • 100 Ml Gowardhan Ghee
  • Loose Cardamom

Instructions

  1. 1. Dry roast 500 g of flax seeds in a pan for about 5-7 minutes on medium heat, until they start to crackle and release a nutty aroma. Set aside to cool.
  2. 2. In the same pan, dry roast 250 g of black sesame seeds for 3-5 minutes until slightly golden and fragrant. Let them cool.
  3. 3. Separately roast 100 g of California almonds and 125 g of honey roasted peanuts until they are slightly browned and crispy. Allow to cool, then coarsely chop or crush them.
  4. 4. Melt 200 ml of gowardhan ghee in a pan over low heat, and add 500 g of jaggery. Stir until the jaggery completely melts and forms a smooth syrup.
  5. 5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the roasted flax seeds, sesame seeds, chopped almonds and peanuts, and a sprinkle of desiccated coconut flour.
  6. 6. Pour the jaggery syrup into the dry ingredients and mix thoroughly, ensuring everything is well coated.
  7. 7. Add a pinch of green cardamom powder for extra flavor, and mix in with your hands or a spoon.
  8. 8. While the mixture is still warm, grease your palms with a little ghee and shape the mixture into small laddus, about the size of a golf ball.
  9. 9. Allow the laddus to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container. Enjoy your healthy Flax Seed Laddus as a snack or dessert.
