Ingredients
- 750 g Priya Sunflower Oil
- 500 g Onion
- 110 g Unpeeled Garlic Cloves
- loose Ginger
- - DELI QUINOA/BASMATI RICE 1KG
- 250 g Tendercuts Basa Boneless Fillet F&S
- 250 ml Real Thai Unsweetened Coconut Milk
- 1 pack (50 g) Yours Freshly Curry Leaf Gunpowder Podi
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- - Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix 50g Pouch
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
Instructions
- 1. Wash and pat dry the fish fillets, then cut them into medium-sized pieces.
- 2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté finely chopped onions until golden brown.
- 3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, cooking until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
- 4. Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until softened and oil separates.
- 5. Mix in turmeric powder, red chili powder, and Suhana Dal Makhani Spice Mix, cooking for 2 minutes.
- 6. Pour in coconut milk and water, stirring well for a smooth curry base.
- 7. Add the fish pieces to the curry and simmer for 10-12 minutes until the fish is cooked through and tender.
- 8. Season with salt and garnish with freshly chopped coriander leaves.
- 9. Meanwhile, rinse the rice thoroughly and cook in boiling water until tender, about 12-15 minutes.
- 10. Drain the rice and fluff it with a fork before serving.
