- 1 Kg Female Mackerel
- 500 g Spt Frozen Mixed Vegetables
- - Ginger Powder
- - White Pepper
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
- 200 ml Mustard Oil
- 100 g Garlic - Single Clove
- - Coriander Powder
- 100 g Lemon
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the mackerel fillets under running water and pat dry with a paper towel.
- 2. Mix turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger powder, white pepper, and salt in a small bowl.
- 3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over both sides of the mackerel fillets and let them marinate for 10 minutes.
- 4. Heat 1 tablespoon of mustard oil in a pan over medium heat until shimmering.
- 5. Add the mackerel fillets to the pan and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through.
- 6. Remove the mackerel from the pan and set aside on a plate to rest.
- 7. In the same pan, add the remaining mustard oil and finely chopped garlic; sauté until fragrant.
