Ingredients

  • 250 g Tendercuts Basa Boneless Fillet F&S
  • 1 pack (450 g) Amul Curd Pouch
  • 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
  • - Red Chilli Powder
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Catch Super Garam Masala
  • 250 ml Keya Lemon Juice
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
  • 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
  • 1 Bunch Mint Leaves (Pudina)
  • medium Chilli Green Long

Instructions

  1. 1. Wash and pat dry the fish fillets, then cut them into bite-sized cubes.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix hung curd with ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice, mustard oil, and salt to make the marinade.
  3. 3. Add the fish cubes to the marinade and coat evenly, then let it sit for 20 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  4. 4. Preheat a grill pan and lightly grease it with mustard oil to prevent sticking.
  5. 5. Place the marinated fish cubes on the grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and charred edges appear.
  6. 6. While the fish is grilling, blend fresh coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, and a pinch of salt with a splash of lemon juice to make the chutney.
  7. 7. Once the fish cubes are cooked, remove them from the grill and garnish with freshly chopped coriander.
  8. 8. Serve the fish tikka bites hot with the tangy mint chutney on the side for dipping.
