Ingredients

  • 1 kg Basmati Rice
  • 250 g Carrot
  • 50 g Honey
  • 50 g White Sesame Seeds
  • 500 g Curd
  • 250 g Cucumber
  • - Ginger Powder
  • - Garlic Paste
  • 90 g Dark Soy Sauce

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large bowl, mix the cooked rice with curd (yogurt) and enough water to create a slightly loose consistency. Cover the bowl with a clean cloth and let it sit at room temperature for 24-48 hours to ferment. Stir occasionally to ensure even fermentation. The rice will develop a tangy flavor during this process.
  2. 2. While the rice is fermenting, prepare the vegetables and toppings. Shred the carrot, slice the cucumber, and wash the spinach thoroughly. Chop the onion into small pieces and set aside. Ensure the fire kimchi is ready for use.
  3. 3. Prepare the dressing by whisking together soy sauce, honey, champion oil, ginger powder, garlic paste, and optional chili flakes in a small bowl. Adjust the seasoning to taste and set the dressing aside.
  4. 4. Once the rice has finished fermenting, divide it into serving bowls.
  5. 5. Arrange the shredded carrot, cucumber slices, spinach, chopped onion, and fire kimchi on top of the fermented rice in each bowl.
  6. 6. Drizzle the prepared dressing over the vegetables and rice.
  7. 7. Sprinkle white sesame seeds on top for added flavor and texture.
  8. 8. Serve immediately and enjoy your fermented rice bowl!
