- Pcs Egg Loose
- 1 kg Rice
- 500 g Onion
- 500 g Desi Tomato (Tamatar)
- medium Chilli Green Long
- 1 pack (100 g) Everest - Ginger Garlic Paste
- 20 g Turmeric Powder
- - Red Chilli Powder
- 100 g Popular Essentials Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
- 1 Bunch Coriander Leaves ( Kottambari Soppu )
- 500 ml Oil (For Frying)
- 1 pack (1 kg) Aashirvaad Crystal Salt | Iodised
Instructions
- 1. Wash the rice thoroughly and soak it in water for 15 minutes.
- 2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and add cumin seeds; let them splutter.
- 3. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- 4. Stir in ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilies, and diced tomatoes; cook until the tomatoes soften.
- 5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt, mixing well to create a spice base.
- 6. Drain the soaked rice and add it to the pan; stir gently to coat the rice in spices.
- 7. Pour in 400 ml of water, cover the pan, and cook on low heat until the rice is tender.
- 8. In a separate pan, heat the remaining oil and sauté onions until translucent for the egg bhurji.
- 9. Beat the eggs in a bowl and pour them into the pan; scramble gently over medium heat.
- 10. Add turmeric, red chili powder, and a pinch of salt to the eggs, stirring until fully cooked.
- 11. Garnish the egg bhurji with chopped coriander leaves for a fresh flavor boost.
- 12. Plate the masala rice alongside the curried egg bhurji and serve warm.
