  • 600g Wholegrain Rolled Oats Jar/Pouch
  • - Rice Flour
  • 100 g Coriander Leaves
  • 250g Green Chilli
  • 50 g Cumin Powder
  • - Red Chilli
  • 20 g Turmeric Powder
  • 100 g Salt
  • 200 ml Mustard Oil
  • 1pc Watermelon

Instructions

  1. 1. Dry roast the rolled oats in a pan until they turn slightly golden and aromatic.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the roasted oats, rice flour, mashed potatoes, and chopped coriander leaves.
  3. 3. Add green chili paste, cumin powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt, mixing well to form a uniform dough.
  4. 4. Gradually add water to the mixture and knead into a soft, pliable dough.
  5. 5. Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into bite-sized patties or balls.
  6. 6. Heat oil in a non-stick pan on medium flame for shallow frying.
  7. 7. Place the shaped bites into the pan and cook until golden brown on each side, flipping occasionally.
  8. 8. Remove the cooked bites and place them on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess oil.
